Your first project is often the "First Iteration" of the PROJECT that's been keeping you up at night... You can iteratively build on your first managed business process to iteratively add Business Value over time. "Iteration One" ahould be fully functional and provide relief from your most pressing process problems... but it's often just the beginning on your road to Continuous Process Improvement. Going back to the Golf analogy (not that I am any good at it)... the first time you might just play 9 holes - but eventually you'll master the whole course.
